Don McDougall, President & CEO

Don has a rich history of growing companies and leading global expansion. Prior to Space-Time Research, Don was Vice President of Customer Solutions and Alliances at SAS. Before its acquisition by SAS, Don was President and COO of ABC Technologies. He has also held the roles of President and CEO at Decision Dynamics Inc, a developer of Supply Chain and Optimization software, and Mitron Corporation, a developer of manufacturing automation software. Don was also Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Floating Point Systems, and a divisional Vice President of Data General Corporation.

Kerry Araujo, Vice President of Global Sales & Alliances

Kerry is responsible for all sales operations and partnership development at Space-Time Research.

Prior to Space-Time Research Kerry was the Senior Sales Director at SAS and was formerly the Vice President of Field Operations and Sales at ABC Technologies. Kerry started her career at IBM holding various Sales and Sales Management positions during her eleven year tenure. Since then she has held various senior management positions at Mentor Graphics, QualityLogic, and SAS.

John Ellenberger, Vice President Statistical Solutions

John is responsible for STR activities in the National Statistics Office market, including solution and business development. He is a senior member of the Space-Time Research team, having joined the company as Product Manager in 1996. John has been involved with Space-Time Research’s major National Statistical Offices.

Prior to joining Space-Time Research, John worked with Statistics New Zealand where he assisted with the commercialization of statistical outputs as well as planning and developing new statistical products and services.

Justin Doherty, General Manager Services

Justin is responsible for the development and delivery of STR consulting, training, and support services.

Prior to joining Space-Time Research, Justin had positions as Professional Services Manager at Information Builders and Vignette, and Asia Pacific Services Manager at Global 360.

Andrew Herbert, General Manager Software Development

Andrew is responsible for the company’s software engineering capability, including the architecture roadmap, product delivery, and ongoing engineering process improvement.

Prior to joining Space-Time Research in late 2007, Andrew worked in the Internet Service Provider industry as Information Systems Development Manager at Pacific Internet and co-founder of Mira Networking.

Andrew holds BSc (honours) and PhD degrees in computer science from Monash University and an MBA from Melbourne Business School, and is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery.

James Fergusson, General Manager Finance & Administration

James joined the organization in 2007 and is responsible for overseeing the global financial, legal, and human resources functions.

He has been in the IT industry for the past 12 years, previously with Netspace Online Systems Pty Ltd (ISP) and Pacific Commerce Pty Ltd (supply chain portal). Prior to the IT industry he worked for Carlson Marketing Group. He has worked in the US, New Zealand, and Australia.

James is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) and is currently the Chairperson of the SME committee at CPA Australia.

Don McIntosh, Director Marketing & Product Planning

Don McIntosh is responsible for STR's marketing program and for developing the product roadmap. Don joined STR in 1997 as a lead developer, and has since held the roles of professional services consultant, professional services manager, and development manager.

Prior to Space-Time Research, Don was a software developer at LIStech, and worked in Sweden developing software for Ericsson's telecommunications platform. Don has a BSc in computing from the University of Melbourne.
